What to Ask Schools

When you contact a school, ask:

• Are you participating in TEFA for 2026-27?
• Do you accept the full $10,474 (or $30K for special needs)?
• What's your application deadline?
• Do you offer financial aid in addition to TEFA?

Apply to TEFA First

Apply for TEFA by March 17, 2026, even if you haven't chosen a school yet. You can update your school choice later. Funding is awarded to families, not directly to schools.
