It’s a Sensory World! (ISW) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 that provides therapeutic, recreational, and educational programming for children, teens, and young adults with developmental delays and disabilities. Our recreational services include eight weeks of respite-based summer camps that welcome approximately 120 campers each year. ISW Academy, our small private school program and a candidate for Cognia accreditation, serves roughly 55 students ages 2 to 22 through a highly individualized, sensory-based educational model. In addition to school-year programming, we offer 1:1 Sensory Circuits and individualized DIRFloortime® sessions to support regulation, communication, and functional independence. Together, these programs create a comprehensive, neuro-affirming environment where students and families can learn, grow, and thrive.
