The Kumon Method empowers children to become self-learners in both Math and Reading. Kumon puts them on the path to becoming the confident, independent, self-reliant people all parents want their children to be. Kumon encourages independent learning. Each student progresses at their own pace through an individualized lesson plan established by their Instructor. Students do daily assignments that take approximately 30 minutes per subject, on paper worksheets or on a tablet via Kumon Connect. Students work under the supervision of Kumon Center staff up to four times per week – in person or virtually – and independently on the other days. Each worksheet teaches a lesson that’s one small step more advanced than the lesson before, so students progress smoothly and gain confidence with each new success.
