About
At Read/Read Foundational Language Support, we believe that strong reading and language skills are the foundation of lifelong learning — and that support should meet each learner where they are. Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages to become confident, fluent, and empowered readers and writers. What We Do Personalized reading & language instruction — We provide structured, systematic support in foundational literacy: phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, word recognition, spelling, reading fluency, and comprehension. Writing & written language support — We help learners strengthen spelling, handwriting, sentence and paragraph writing, grammar, vocabulary, and overall written expression. Comprehension & language development — Beyond decoding and writing, we support vocabulary development, oral language, grammar, syntax, and comprehension — helping learners build a deep, nuanced understanding of language. Individualized tutoring & remediation / enrichment — Whether someone is just beginning to learn reading and writing, bridging gaps due to learning differences, or seeking advanced enrichment, our instruction is tailored to their specific level and goals. Support for diverse learners — We welcome students with a variety of learning profiles — including those who struggle with reading or writing, those with learning differences (such as dyslexia), and those who simply wish to improve their fluency, comprehension and confidence. Lifelong learning — We serve a broad age range — children learning to read for the first time, older students needing remediation, teens or adults working on language skills, or any individual wanting to sharpen reading and writing abilities. Why It Matters Reading and writing are more than academic skills — they are tools for communication, learning, and opportunity. Without a secure foundation in phonics, decoding, spelling, and language comprehension, many learners struggle to keep up academically or to express themselves effectively. At Read/Read Foundational Language Support, we use evidence-based, systematic methods to build these foundational skills in a supportive, learner-centered environment. The result is not just improved reading or writing — but confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Who We Serve Children and early readers building foundational reading and writing skills. Students who experience difficulties with reading, spelling, writing, or comprehension — including those with learning differences. Teens and adults who want to improve or remediate language, reading, or writing skills. Families seeking individualized, one-on-one (or small-group) instruction tailored to their child’s pace and needs. Our Approach & Values Individualized & learner-centered — We assess each learner’s strengths and challenges to tailor instruction to their needs. Structured, research-informed methods — Our instruction is systematic, sequential, and based on foundational literacy principles. Respect, empathy, and patience — Learning to read, write, or re-learn language skills can be challenging. We meet each learner with care, understanding, and respect for their journey. Holistic language development — We see reading and writing as part of a broader language system: decoding, comprehension, expression, vocabulary, and confidence.
