The Shelton School is recognized as a world-class independent school serving intelligent students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD and related language-based disorders. Since 1976, Shelton has been a turning point for students who learn differently, transforming challenges into strengths through evidence-based instruction and a supportive, inclusive environment for Early Childhood through 12th grade. Students benefit from customized learning in a mainstream setting, a curriculum that builds academic strength and self-confidence, and a full range of support and enrichment opportunities including social skills programming, study and organizational strategies, and clubs spanning fine arts, music, athletics and STEM.
